No only is the "Marie Antoinette" image about elitism and not race, but it was not done by "white people." "White people" make up about 20% of the world's nearly seven billion people. This political cartoon was done by one person and posted on the far right-wing website, Gateway Pundit. The reality is that an enormous number of white people support President Obama and admire the First Lady.

Stop the nonsense. Mayor Dave Bing is doing an excellent job. I've not seen as much optimism about the City of Detroit in many years. Rather than attempting to tear down the Mayor, why don't we each do what we can to make Detroit a great city. It takes very little effort to march around carrying signs and shouting. What we need now is people who are willing to work. Clean up that vacant lot near your house. Contribute part of your earnings to a food bank. Supervise your children and provide a clean, safe, beautiful home environment for them. Be a positive leader in your own sphere of influence. Believe that YOU can make a difference and, with consistent work hard, you will!
